•  Fort Meade Jamboree - in Ft. Meade; October 9, 2004; Fort Meade Outdoor Recreation Area on Peace River; Good family entertainment including clogging and a variety of music groups and soloists (country, gospel, bluegrass). Covered pavillion with stage area provided and playground equipment for children. Second Saturday each month (year round) with a 2-3 day festival in November and a clogging contest on the 1st Saturday (Nov. 6, 2004); donations accepted
•  Friday Fest 'Tow Jam - in Bartow; October 15, 2004; Street party featuring live music, food, beer, soft drinks, and a children's activity; 100 block of South Central Ave.; Free
